Did you know that over 50% of people who are on the internet are not confident with using their computers? Through our small business technology workshops we find that everyone has an email address but very few businesses have a website. Even less use online banking. More and more information, opportunities and services are going online and we all need to be comfortable with using our computers to take advantage of these things.
Here’s what our technology coaching programs can do for you:
Technology Training Initiatives - BEC Technology Tuesday
We run these workshops every month in conjunction with the Business Enterprise Center and participants learn how to use a computer to improve your marketing, finance, communications and business operations. The curriculum we use is world class and has been tried and tested in countries such as Portugal, China, Italy and Thailand and we are the first to bring it here to Australia.Download Brochure
BLKMGK Go-Live
Commencing in January 2010, BLKMGK Go-Live is all about getting your business online. First you learn the ins and outs of web design, how to market your website and how to monitor and manage your website to make sure it’s working for you. Once you have all the fundamentals covered, you’ll work with one of our Technology Coaches to develop your own website and maximise your business opportunities on the internet. BLKMGK 1 on 1
Sometimes you just want to find out how to solve a particular challenge in your business and you’d love the opportunity to sit down with an expert to discuss it. BLKMGK 1 on 1 gives you the chance to sit down with one of our Technology Coaches and work through whatever you want to ask them. BLKMGK 3 Months
If you are serious about improving your business then this is the program for you. You work with one of our Technology Coaches to identify a business challenge and then we set about preparing technology strategies to solve it. For instance, if your challenge is finding out how to reduce the time it takes you to finish your paperwork, then one of our coaches will measure the time it takes with your existing processes and recommend a new strategy for you.
